I’ve just come across the most incredible 360 degree picture of this years Fiesta. I’m often asked by people who’ve not flown in a balloon “What’s it like?”. They say a picture says a thousand words and this picture proves how true that is. It’s exactly as you see things from the balloon, you look up and see the envelope and other balloons which are higher, look down and see balloon still inflating on the ground. Standing in the balloon basket you have very little sense of movement, you don’t feel any wind on your face, it’s like you’re standing still and everything else around is moving around you, albeit pretty slowly!
