Caption competition

I’m currently reading Austerity Britain, 1945-1951 by David Kynaston. In the book there is a ‘photo described as “Holiday crowds at Waterloo Station. The queue started from the main entrance, into York Road round the bomb site and beyond 24th July 1948” The real surprise in the picture is that a mobile phone already appears to be in use, despite Wikipedia saying “Bell Labs installed the first commercial cellular network in Chicago in the 1970s”. See the lady in the lower left quarter of the photo.
