On lap 28 Massa was driving brilliantly and his race engineer Rob Smedley said over the radio &#8220;Gap is three seconds. We need everything, Felipe. Keep this going and we can win.&#8221;  But on lap 47 a different message was sent &#8220;Alonso is faster than you.
